Modi’s Kerala visit – A letter to Amrita TV

published on February 10, 2014

Today, 9th Feb 2014, the immensely popular Shri Narendra Modi, the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate visited Kerala. He addressed two public meetings, one in Kochi and the other in Thiruvananthapuram. Amrita TV viewers were hoping that there would be live coverage of the events, or at least some parts of the speeches would be telecast. But unfortunately, there was a total black-out of the grand events, which were attended by lakhs of people. This seems to be the mischief of the commie elements who infiltrated Amrita TV right from the time it was started. Communist party meetings get highlighted. But the massive meetings of the BJP have deliberately been ignored. Thus Amrita TV viewers have been badly let down by the biased News Desk of Amrita TV. I, on behalf of my family and friends, strongly condemn this bias shown by Amrita News, and appeal to the concerned authorities to keep the channel free from political bias.

    Need our own TV Channel
Well and truly said, Doctor! Hindus must support their own TV Channel Janam TV. This is the only solution to the Marxist, Missionary, Mullah control of mass media in Kerala.

    Anti-Hindu
This has to be strongly condemned by all Hindus. But the saddest thing is that the patron on this channel is the son of Shri. Rajagopal ji. This channel is viewed by mostly Hindus but it is run by the commis. If they continue to do the same then we have to think of some serious steps wherein the Amrita TV will be the losers.

Where is video of #NaMoInKerala ?
I have following Modi rallies by downloading all the videos from YouTube. It is surprising that the video of #NaMoInKerala is not available on YouTube!!! It seems to be plot by commies. The search results using “Narendra Modi in Thiruvananthapuram” return a video that is faulty. BJP must look into it.

    Commies infested Amritha TV
The programmes shown in this channel, (barring MATHA programmes) are anti Hindu, So better do not watch the channel. If all the Hindus boycott the channel, also some news papers like above, they will understand the gravity.

Pls do not get carried away
Guys, if you are not interested, ignore Amrita TV. What is the big deal? Mr.Ashok is talking about ‘serious steps’, don’t get that serious. Take it easy. You have better things to do in life.

@ Dr – I too wish they had givem better coverage for the rally. To be honest, I do not think it is right to say they are biased though, I have not seen them giving live coverage for Pinarayi or VS.

    Business comes first
It is just a balancing act based on business interests of the channel. They are neither pro-Modi nor anti-Modi. When Shri Modiji was invited to attend the 60th birthday of Mata Amritanandmayi as chief guest, CPM expressed reservations and as a commercial venture Amrita has to please every sections of the society. We need not read too much on this episode. Shri Modiji’s charisma cannot be diminished by such acts of media, whether it is intentional or not.

Idiotic Hindus show their stupidity again
KOTTAYAM: A director board meeting of Nair Service Society (NSS) at Perunna on Saturday decided to snap its ties with the SNDP Yogam.

“Certain recent developments were found to be damaging the harmony between the communities as well as secularism. The decision to snap ties with the SNDP Yogam is in view of these developments,” society general secretary G Sukumaran Nair said in a press note.

He said the ties were worked out with SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan on a specially prepared policy draft aimed at a broad-based unity of majority communities and the idea did not progress much. The organizations had embarked on an alliance in April last year.

Natesan had last week alleged that the SNDP Yogam was snubbed after it was used. The rift between the two organizations had widened on the issue of the move to constitute a unified devaswom recruitment board. On Thursday, Natesan said the SNDP Yogam would oppose the move politically and legally while Nair ruled out any change in the NSS stand.

Nair had clarified that the NSS had not objection to following the reservation norms in devaswom appointments but it was opposed to handing over the recruitment to the public service commission.

    Hindu Unity
I think NSS was right in opposing recruitment being handed over to the Public Service Commission. Vellapally Natesan should be persuaded by Hindu leaders to walk that extra mile to achieve Hindu Unity, which will be in the interest of the whole community.
