Malabar Temple Parliament – Thousands took Pledge to protect Temples from Govt. Take over

Kozhikode: More than 2500 representatives from various temples in Malabar region joined together and took pledge to protect the temples in Malabar from government invasion. Present Samoothiri , P K S Raja inaugurated Malabar Temple Parliament here and urged Hindus to work in unison to prevent the capture of Temples and Ashrams by government.

From the very fact that Government comes forward to take only financially sound temples exposes their evil intentions. Have any devaswom board renovated any temples which was in dilapidated condition yet? The temples currently managed by devaswom board are centre of corruption and mismanagement.Thousands of acres of temple land has been lost already due to this mismanagement and the importance of Temple Parliament gain more support from Hindu Soceity, Told P K S Raja.

Hindu devotees alone can protect the temples from this dangerous threat of take over and for that Hindu unity is the only answer , told HAV State president K P Sasikala Teacher.Devaswom Board should come forward to present all details regarding temple properties and assets to devotees.

RSS Saha Prantha Sanghachalak Advocate K K Balram presented ‘Legalities behind Temple Protection’. Advocated M K Renjith presented paper on ‘Warning against Temple Take Over”, Prof. P C Krishna Varma Raja presented paper on “Warning against encroachment of temple land”, Rajasekharan Panoor presented paper on “Temples as centre of Hindu Revival and Resurgence”.

Representatives from temples of Palakkad to Kasargode took part in the Parliament. The massice support received to Temple Parliament in Malabar shows that Hindus started realising   the need of organised Hindu Unity during these adifficult times, Told RSS Pranth Karya Vahak P Gopalankutty Master.
