Karnataka Govt refuses treatment for Madhani at multi-specialty hospital

BANGALORE: Karnataka Government informed the court that PDP leader Abdul Nazar Madhani arrested and jailed in the Bangalore blasts case cannot be treated at the multi-specialty hospital. Madhani has got health problems, the government agreed and said that he is getting sufficient treatment in the jail.

The state has made all arrangements for his treatment in government hospital, but he is not cooperating on it. The report submitted said that he is more interested on the treatment in his own expenses. The superintendent of the Parappana Agrahara Jail where Madhani is lodged submitted the report in the Bangalore High Court.

The plea seeking bail for taking treatment in his own expense is under the consideration of the court.
