Children for Sale

As you know Christianity is facing several problems now a days. One of the severe problems faced by Christianity in India is scarcity of funds. As Europe is under severe debt crisis, and in USA and Australia, Christians are not showing much interest in Church activities, fund flow to Asian countries for conversion activities has been decreased drastically.

In order to overcome this fund scarcity, Vatican advised its subordinates in India and other Asian countries to conduct the adoption business. In this adoption business, children of poor families are either purchased by paying money or forcefully taken to Christian Adoption Centers located in Tamil Nadu or Bangalore or Mumbai.  Photos of these Children are circulated among potential buyers .Childless people and Pedophiles pays heavy amount for adopting one child, money collected through this business is distributed between Church and NGO managing the Adoption agency.

When high intensity earth quake devastated Haiti, US Evangelists tried to smuggle children through Mexico to United States for sale in USA. International Media reported it widely and even Haiti government raised to occasion and booked the culprits.But in India National Media shows no interest in this Child traffickers.           

During the last two years several children purchased by Christians for onward sale to  child less couples in west have been freed in Tamil Nadu itself. In the last week of June, 2010 several children smuggled from Indian state of Manipur have been freed in Chennai, Capital city of Tamil Nadu. These children are smuggled from Hindu majority district of Bishnupur in Manipur. We are attaching one photograph taken at the time of rejoining the Children rescued with their parents at Imphal.

According to various sources, more than 150 children are put on sale / adoption in Kolkatta by Missionaries of Charities in its Dum Dum based Adoption Centre.  Reports says that these 150 children are put in a small building with in-adequate facilities.
