Thiruvananthapuram Bypoll:Voting Finished

Thiruvananthapuram:Bypoll polling finished here .The Polling which started by 7 AM in the morning went on slowly.As per last reports 59% voting was done by evening.


There was violence reported from Dhanuvachapuram,Jagathi,Vizhinjam and Kumarapuram.The Violence were initiated in Dhanuvachapuram when UDF Candidate and wife tried to By pass the que for voting.While in the Jagathy the presence of a group of UDF supporters who followed A.K.Antony and M.M.Hassan led to arguments andLDF workers lodged a protest when Former Chief Minister A K Antony,  spoke to media persons near the polling booth. .Similarly, there was tension at a booth in Vizhinjam when polling agents of a party alleged that two people cast their votes using bogus voter identity cards


The votes will be counted on November 22nd.
