The Travancore Devaswom Board has made it clear that it does not favour the proposed Mannarakkulanji -Pampa road project under BOT basis through the PWD.

TDB counsel has in a submission presented the Board’s stand on the issue to the High Court, when a public interest writ petition filed by one Mr V Vinod praying to direct the government to implement the Malaysian government project came up for the consideration of the court. The counsel submitted that the Board did not favour the project as it would cause great inconvenience to pilgrims.
