‘Dhakshina Tirupathi’ temple in Kerala conducts sacred rituals

Highly sacred Hindu rituals are underway at the most famous Vaishnavite Temple in Kerala, also known as Dakshina Thirupathi. Acharyan Seeravalli Kesavan Namboothiri is the chief priest officiating Sapthaham which began on November 6th. On Sunday the 13th, Chakrabja Pooja (most important pooja for Mahavishnu) and Dravya Kalasam will be performed. Udhana Ekadasi, believed to be most auspicious, will also be observed on Saturday the 12th.
