Ayyappa Dharma Parishad to open service centres

The Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Dharma Parishad has decided to open 100 centres in and outside Kerala for rendering services to Sabarimala pilgrims during the coming Mandalam-Makaravilaku season.

It also resolved to operate multi-purpose centres at Sabarimala, Pampa, Nilackal, Erumeli, Pathanamthitta, Kadapattoor, Pandalam, Ettumanur, Vaikom, Guruvayur and Palakkad. Food and drinking water will be provided at these centres.


Medical facilities and facilities to take rest will also be provided in these places. The medical camp at Pampa will have ambulance facilities with the cooperation of K.G. Hospital, Coimbatore. An information centre and a volunteer camp will be set up at the Sannidhanam. The Parishad will open information centres during the season at Coimbatore, Tirupur, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.


The services will be inaugurated at a function to be held on the Ettumanoor Temple premises on November 30.
