Waynad Rescue Operations – Exemplary efforts by Bajrangdal win accolades from Unexpected Quarters

Waynad: While Government officials, Ministers and Media were discussing the havoc caused by heavy rain in the Tribal district of Waynadu in various Channel studios , Bajrangdal, Durgavahini and VHP activists were engaged in silent rescue operations across the district.

As usual our Ministers and opposition were engaged in Blame game with respect to who should help and support those poor who were isolated in villages by heavy rains and overflowiing rivers. While they were engaged in war of words about State Government’s and Central Government’s role to help those affected by these calamities, Activists of Bajrangdal and VHP were supplying food to thousands who were left alone for starvation.

In the flood raven villages  of Waynadu, Determined swayamsevaks of Hindu organisations raise to the occassion, The selfless activities of Hindu organisations and the dedication of swayamsevaks in such a critical situation opened the eyes of many who were always critical of their activities. Hundreds of Female volunteers of Durgavahini were also in the forefront to extend a helping hand to those who were neglected by the State machinery. The Rescue operations are taking place under the effective leadership of Bajrangdal Kerala State organiser Shri A M Bhakthavalsalan.
