Vishnunath Must Apologize to the Hindus: Hindu Aikya Vedi

published on October 15, 2012

Alleppy: “The tiny tots who dress themselves as Lord Krishna on the day of Janmashttami for the procession later churn themselves out into fundamentalists,” the statement made by PC Vishnunath, MLA has not been seen very kindly by the Hindu community. The state organizing secretary of Hindu Aikya Vedi V Shasikumar reiterated that Vishnunath must apologize to the entire Hindu community for having grievously wounded their sentiments.

“People like Vishnunath are spokespersons of those elements who try to disrupt the cultural fabric of Indian society, who deliberately try to distort and wipe out the heritage and who are chiefly instrumental in tearing down the rich background our country possesses. He has proved it, by making such a slanderous statement on Balagokulam,” said Shasikumar.

“The treacherous move by Congress for making themselves comfortable in vote-bank politics has made them align shamelessly with religious fundamentalists. Isn’t this an act of a traitor? If Vishnunath is bent on ridiculing the insight offered in Hinduism and its observances, he does not, at any cost, deserve the name Vishnunath. He better choose another name for himself,” declared Shasikumar, adding that the anti-Hindu stance of Vishnunath must be subject to probe by the Assembly.
