Vedic Workshop ‘Light of Truth’ held

A vedic workshop named ‘LIGHT OF TRUTH’ was held at Ottappalam (Pandit Rishi Ram Nagar) in Kerala from 19 Jul to 21 Jul 2013. Renowned scholar Acharya Somdev ji and Baleswar Muni Vanaprasthi of Paropakarini Sabha led the classes. Sandhya, Agnihothra, familarisaing the vedic literatures, Arya Samaj ideology and the ‘Vedic Sandhya’ recently introduced by Paropakarini Sabha, Ajmer were part of this sibiram.

The workshop was inaugurated by Acharya Somdev ji after a yagya on 19 Jul 2013.This inaugural function was presided over by Dr.PK Madhavan, a well known sanskrit scholar of Kerala and President of Vidya Bharathi, Dakshin Kshethra. Sri.Baleswar Muni ji, V Govinda Das,TR Balachandran, S Sreedhara Sharma and KM Rajan also spoke on the occassion. people from various districts of Kerala attended t in this workshop. Dr. PK Madhavan, in his presidential speech stressed the necessity of propagation of vedic ideals as brought out in Sathyarth Prakash and other literature of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswathi.

There was a special session in the sibir to pay homage to Acharya Arya Bhaskar ji, who passed away recently.

Apart from the Vedic workshop, Acharya Somdev ji and Baleswar Muni ji visited few schools of Kerala and participated in their various functions also
