Unabated Islamic conversions in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram:  Intelligence reports have stated an alarming conversion to Islam, being initiated on stealth, in Malabar. The report has been submitted to the government last year. According to the reports, over 650 people have, in a span of 6 months, converted to Islam from Hindusim and Islam in 2014.

The report further cites that those who converted from Hinduism hail from Nair and Ezhava community. The conversion spate was reported to be especially high in the months of March and April. As many as 135 and 129 persons converted in the months of April and May respectively. With the activities of conversion being done on stealth, greater incentives are being offered to those converted to lure them into sticking on to Islam. Other instances of conversion of Hindus are as follows: 73 in January, 80 in February, 76 in October, 73 in November etc.

According to Intelligence sources, the original data is far more alarming, the current data being recovered from registrations.
