Sub Inspector abused 26/11 Hero

Kochi: The hero Of 26/11 attack, Commando Manesh has been abused and humiliated by the Valapattanam Police Sub inspector. The sub inspector even crossed the limit and abused the martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in a derogatory tone.

Manesh was a commando of the elite anti-terror 51 SAG and was a part of the crack team that cleared Oberoi hotel from terrorists in Mumbai in November 2008.

The incident occurred when he filed a complaint associated with a threat to his family from the brother’s business partner.The Sub Inspector insisted that the disabled soldier should go to the station personally. Once he reached the station, he was even denied the basic courtesy of offering a chair to sit. Manesh have complained to Home Minister about the abuse he have to face in the Police station, but no action has been taken so far against the Vallapattanam Sub Inspector.
