Thiruvananthapuram: Temples under Travancore Devaswom Board are slipping into deep crisis – Thanks to Excellent Management of pious Comrades.

The outcomes of Communist hegemony in TDB are

Temple Festivals

Majority of Temples will not be able to conduct annual Temple festivals as the Board Members are not granting funds, giving permission to hire Elephants for the festivals

Temples are not seeking any special grant as in the case of other Religious places, But a part of the Temple revenue took away by the Board.

Temple Maintenance

Annual Maintenance of Temples is affected to the core this time. Most of the Temples are now in dilapidated condition. Lakhs are being spend every year to beautify Ministers Bungalows and flats of MLA’s –But the centres of divine presence are neglected.

Appointments

Many important appointments related to Temple, including that of Priests to conduct pooja is now pending. Few Temples were not even able to conduct daily pooja due to this inefficiency.

Administration

More than 700 important files are waiting in the temple of Board President. But the Board president says ‘He will do it as per his convenience’ as if it is his family matter

Devaswom Staff

Devaswom staff is complaining about denial of their rights by the Board. Dearness Allowance was not given yet to Devaswom staff. Medical Reimbursements of Staffs submitted after this board are still pending. Vacant posts are not filled which adds up to the problems.

Never Ever in the History there was such an inefficient and irresponsible body. It is upto the devotees to decide whether to continue this slavery or to stand up and speak for our inborn right to worship
