Sanathana Dharma Parishath creating a Hindu wave in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: 5 day Sanathana Dharma Parishath aimed at creating awareness among Hindu Society against the impending dangers and the need to stand up together in this difficult times against the enemies of Sanathana Dharma started here on 19th.

Uduppi pejawar Madathipathi Swami Viswesara Theertha inaugurated the parishath here on 19th and Vichara Sabhas to discuss the pertaining issues, Public meets, started from 20th Wednesday. An exhibition – Bharatheeya Paithruka Pradarsani aimed at propagating the cultural ethos of our Nation to next generation is also organised. The exhibition is attracting hundreds since the beginning.

Subrahmanyam Swami inaugurated the Seminars in Sree Narayana Centenary Hall on Wednesday. Subrahmaniyam swamy took part in the discussion part of ’Hinduism and Culture’.RSS Sahapranth pracharak J Nandakumar was the moderator. Many Hindu stalwarts including Bharatheeya Vicharakendram Chairman Dr K Madhavankutty, Dr T S Girishkumar, C Janardhanan, K Radhamadhavan, Kshetra Samrakshana Samiti leader P C Krishnavarma Raja and others addressed the meet.

Public Function organised at Muthalakulam Maidan was inaugurated by Kozhikode Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt Madathipathi Brahmachari Vivekamrutha Chaitanya. Karu Matra Vijayan, M T Viswanathan , NSS Taluk union president Chandrasekharan Nair and TV Sudhakaran addressed the crowd.

On Thursday the Discussion Topic was ‘Family Values in Modern Times. Dr Lakshmi Kumari of Vivekananda Vaidik Mission foundation,Sri Adyathmananda Saraswathi, Prof VT Rama, Pattayil Prabhakaran and others took part.Sri Adyathmananda Saraswathi , P. Nathan and others addressed the Public function at Muthalakulam.

Today the discussion topic is Temples and Social Responsibility. Swami Chidanandapuri, Swami Ayyapadas of Ayyappa Seva Sangham and others will participate. Kummanam Rajasekharan will take part in the public function organised at Muthalakulam Maidan at 6 PM.

Tomorrow Michael Danino will take part in the discussion on Youth and Bharath. Veda Vyasa School Principal Chendamarakshan will moderate the discussion.Pramod Kumar of Amrutha Viswa Vidya Peedom, Dr Lakshmi Sankar of Sri Sankara Sanskrit university will also take part. Dharma Jyoty Puraskara Samarpanam at 6 PM.

In the Samvadam- on Religion and Culture Swami Chidanandapuri, K P Radhakrishnan RSS, Mohamad Karakkunnu, Jabbar Master and others will participate.

Sanathana Dharma Parishath is formed with the support of various Hindu organisations and spiritual heads of various Ashrams. The whole concept put forward by Swami Chidananda Puri of Kolathur Advaita Ashram has been made success by various Hindu organisations. Such platforms are clearly providing space for various Hindu organisations to share their concerns together and to proceed together on common issues.
