The renowned Film Actor, ‘Bharat’ Gopi has opined that country’s rule by the representative of the Italian Mafia would deprive the country of its freedom.

Inaugurating the election convention of the “Hindu Munnani” candidate for the Thiruvananthapuram East constituency, Mr Jyothindrakumar, Mr Gopi alleged that the Italian Mafia is ruling the country by installing “a dummy” as the Prime Minister.

Politics has become so dirty that it cannot be touched, he said. Given this scenario, a Hindu renaissance could only save and strengthen India. An awakening by the Hindus has, therefore, become the necessity of the time, he said.

Describing that the Sangh is the wealth of the nation, Mr Gopi said, hadn’t there been the “Sangh Strength” the nation would have gone under the control of the foreigners.

Those spoke at the function included, apart from the candidate, Hindu Aikya Vedi State President, Mr J Sisupalan,  Organising Secretary, M Radhakrishnan and BJP State Organising Secreary, Mr K R Umakanthan.
