Prestigous Sanjayan Puraskaram’ to S.Rameshan Nair

Kochi (Kerala): S.Ramesan Nair has been conferred with one of the prestigious  literary award of Kerala  “Sanjayan Puraskaram” by Thapasya. Ramesan Nair is a famous lyricist, poet and Script writer with a strong spiritual background.The award ceremony will take place on 27th of October. Thapasya is the cultural organisation of Samskar Bharathi and very much active in Literary- Cultural field in Kerala.

Recently published poetic wonder a book named GuruPournami written by S.Ramesan Nair about Sri Narayana GuruDev is now rated as the legendry work by many .From last 3 decades S.Ramesan Nair has created a specific mark in the literary circle. S.Ramesan Nair’s translation work of Chilapathikaram and Thirukkural the Tamil epics gave entire Kerala the real rejuvenation and also opened the eyes beyond the boundaries and awakened the static mind of language barrier.

The award is in the name of Sanjayan, the pen name of famous satire writer M.R.Nair. The Prize money is 50,000 and a momento.The award deciding committee consisted of Maha kavi Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri, famous critic Asha menon and writer T.P.Sudhakaran
