“RSS has been a victim of malign campaigns since inception. Earlier, it was through radio. Then it came in the form of print media and now it is more through television channels. Tomorrow, it may be through web media. We are not worried about any such campaigns, however; we feel that such campaigns definitely confuse a section of the society. The misconceptions created by the media are not eradicated till the affected people do not see the RSS from close quarters. There is a need to use different media tools to bridge the gap created between the ‘reality’ and the ‘image’ of RSS by a section of the media. In this way redesigning of Organiser.org and Panchjanya.com websites in new and attractive look will have greater significance,” said RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Shri Sureshji Soni, while launching the redesigned websites of weekly magazines Organiser and Panchjanya in New Delhi.

News Bharati (A Bharati Web Private Limited’s venture) provided necessary support and technologies for re-designing the websites using its state-of-art web publishing platform News@Sangraha 6.0. The same platform is also empowering other Like Minded Publications www.tarunbharat.net and www.newsbharati.com. This initiative was undertaken by News Bharati as its ongoing efforts for bringing Like Minded People together along with empowering Like Minded Organizations by providing them technology solutions, on-going support and social networking channels. News Bharati is engaging with more and more Like Minded Publications to increase the presence in the cyber world.

The new websites add significant benefits to the weekly magazines Organiser and Panchjanya which includes –

·  Unicode font
·  Easy to navigate layouts
·  e.Paper and
·  Access to archives of previous issues.

National Executive Member of RSS Shri Ram Madhav, RSS Delhi Prant Sahsanghachalak Dr. Shyam Sunder Agrawal and Shri Vijay Kumar, managing director of Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Ltd, (the company who owns the Organiser and Panchjanya magzines), along with Shri R Balashankar, chief editor, Organiser and Shri Baldeobhai Sharma, chief editor, Panchjanya were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the audience, Shri Sureshji Soni said that RSS workers should reach all sections of the society with the help of new technologies. And along with taking all other necessary steps, it is also necessary to register its strong presence in the web media, as it is going to become an effective medium of social change in coming days.

Shri Milindji Oak, who played a vital role in redesigning initiative for both the websites said, “Compared to the Organiser, reach of the Panchjanya website was poor in the old format because of font issues”. He further added “now the contents on the Panchjanya website are available in Unicode font which is universally accepted by all the search engines world wide”. He said there are efforts to provide old issues of last ten years in the Unicode font on the archive section of the new website.
