The SNDP Yogam General Secretary, Mr Vellapally Natesan has said that the unity between the NSS and SNDP would “continue with renewed vigour though both the organisations had their own independent opinions on various issues.

Avoiding a confrontation with the government on the alleged Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) corruption and Ecosmart projects issue, Mr Natesan said that the Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, “has taken a stand that that respected the sentiments of the SNDP Yogam and the Hindu community in boh these cases”.

However, continuing his tirade against the Devaswom Minister, Mr K C Venugopal, he said that the charges raised by the Yogam against were still valid.
