Now Minority Reservation is official

New Delhi: UPA govt. which thrives on divide and rule of it’s on citizens went ahead to provide  4.5% reservation to Minorities in which Muslims and Christians will be the beneficiaries.

Following Thursday evening’s cabinet meeting UPA made it clear that they will provide reservation for Minorities in government jobs and educational institutions. Government has decided to provide 4.5% reservation for minorities within the 27% quota for other backward classes (OBCs).

Though political observers see this as a political ploy of Congress to revive their hopes in upcoming UP polls in which 19% of the population are Muslims, For those who follows the policies of Congress since this UPA came to power under Sonia Gandhi – This is yet another phase which shows their Anti Hindu face which we saw earlier in their move to destroy Ram Sethu or safeguarding terrorists like Afzal guru and Kasab or Communal Violence bill.      

Following UPA’s announcement of cabinet decision BJP leaders in Uttar Pradesh submitted a memorandum to Uttar Pradesh governor BL Joshi, opposing the Centre’s move to grant reservation for backward Muslims under OBC quota. A party delegation met the Governor and submitted the memorandum against the proposed quota for Muslims within 27 per cent quota for OBCs.

“Backward Muslims are already covered under 27 per cent quota for backwards and fixing separate quota on the basis of religion is against the Constitution,” the memorandum said. In many states including Kerala, Muslims are already enjoying OBC reservation.
