Jihadi attempt to instigate clashes between Hindu organizations and DYFI thwarted

published on July 15, 2010

Aluva: Jihadi  trouble mongers who infiltrated into the protest march of Hindu organizations at Perumbavoor were identified by the organizers and handed over to police.  The protest march was organized against terrorist activities of Popular Front and government lapses. Jihadis were planning to instigate clashes by throwing stones at a DYFI rally which would pass in the same area.

When the march started from near Sreedharmasastha temple with hundreds of people, these two Jihadi’s Chokli Faisal and Kandanthara Farooq also joined the march. But as the march proceeded few of the organizers grew suspicion on these two people identity and then upon questioning they revealed that they planned to throw stones at the DYFI march to instigate violence.

If they were successful, it would have been a different headline in today’s news papers.
