Nation should be proud of Patriotic Lt. Col. Srikant Prasad Purohit

THE recent arrest of military intelligence officer Lieutenant Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit on the charge of involvement in the Malegaon bomb blasts, seems to have put Hindus in general, and Hindutva forces in particular, in a dilemma.

‘What should our stand be? Should we support Purohit or disown him? Should we deny that Purohit is involved in any bomb blast? Or, as most Hindus do most of the time, should we simply stay silent?’ These seem to be the thoughts going through the minds of millions of Hindus right now.

And, as usual, there is no one to help or guide ordinary Hindus on the stance they should take in this matter (or, on any thing that impacts the daily lives of ordinary Hindus). The saints and swamijis, the political and cultural leaders, all are either silent or busy preaching Gandhian sentimental trash to a great, ancient society on the brink of disaster.

So, what should our stand on the Purohit affair be? Should we hang our heads in shame when sworn anti-Hindu TV channels, newspapers and magazines call us ‘Hindu terrorists’?

If you have read the philosophy of Lord Shri Krishna (whom all Hindus revere) as given in the Bhagavat Gita, and have understood it rightly, you won’t have to think twice on whether to support the military intelligence officer’s action or not.

We should proud that Col. Purohit took initiate this combat against a society of criminals and terrorists that has been tormenting us for 1,400 years.” “Retaliation against adharmis is our dharma and Col. Purohit have done his duty even at the risk of loss of career and life.

It is another matter that Lt Col Purohit may, in the end, be proven to have nothing to do with the Malegaon or Samjhauta Express blasts. All this may be an elaborate dirty trick (for which Gandhi’s Congress have always been well-known) as a general election draws near and the Muslim vote bank needs to be made secure once again. Remember, not one of the charges against the revered Kanchi Shankaracharya has been proven.

Col. Purohit’s action proves that, despite the immense damage that Hindu society has suffered because of invaders over the past 1,400 years and because of pseudo-secularism over the past 60 years, our civilization is not yet dead.

But, at the same time, I seriously doubt whether Islam fit into the defnitions of any true religion.Pakisthan attacked India in 1947,1965 and 1971 and our troops retaliated with full vigour. They used religion in Kashmir and other parts of India to destabilise our country. Their action need to be addressed in the same way. I see a lot of support for Lt Col Purohit in this forum for what he is alleged to have done. I personally think that if he had done such things, rightly he should have resigned from Army before doing them, because such acts are against the Constitution of our country which he is supposed to uphold as a Defence Service Offr. I also think that we should realise that blowing up mosques/ churches and people of a particular religion is not a solution to anything. The 'Hindu' term, as I know, is not found in the Vedas which are to be considered 'The Holy Book' or in the 'Gita'. It is, I believe, a word given to the people living this side of the Indus river by Persians. By that definition, every Muslim and Christian in India is a Hindu. And we all know, there are sane people among them all. The objective of this website, which I believe is to strengthen our country, is laudable. To achieve that, You will have to be more inclusive. You may have to realise that our country can be strenthened and progressed only by strengthening and progressing all its citizens, that includes the Muslim and Christian and others. We have to realise first that we all are born without any religion, and when we die, it matters not what religion you were in, you will still be dead! We were all born as humans, and we all die as humans. In the interim, we may call ourselves a Hindu, Muslim or Christian. It will help if we remember that we are ultimately human beings and all other considerations matters not. Purohit's case (If done / tru) I can not blame him also because it was a result from the Frustration which is feeliing in many Hindu minds and even in Military. The Central Govt. is not doing anything to tackle the Jihadi terrorists and they failed to give punishment to any of the militants who has executed teh bomb blasts in India. So defenetly the Military men who are always the facing the militants in different fronts and seeing the tragedy of a bomb blasts more than us (who are watching TV reports) will change their mind and decide to give a reply to such militants in their own way, because Hindu People like Mr. Purohit wants to shows the Jihadis and their supporters that, even one or two hindus can also plant bombs and execute such bomb blasts. How many militants got death sentences in India till yet ? Did anybody think about it ? That is the reason of emerging (if exists) Hindu extremism or Hindu militancy. Anyways, if Purohit did anything wrong, which is not the right thing to do in a democracy. Even the hard core Bajrangdal or VHP activists would not do such thing as bombing the mosque etc. Since we all agreed on democracy, let us work only in democratic ways. In the BJP ruled states a law can easily be passed so that no hindu temples and other religious places are ever taken over or managed anyone connected with any religion, let alone any one who has nothing to do with hindu religion like the one sitting at the top in AP. Similarly they could have passed a law in the parliament that nobody who is not connected with religious affairs of a particular community should ever interfere in the religious affairs. Let me give attention to the issues that lead the military officer and Swamini to raise weapon against the religious discrimination showed by various governments both in centre and in various states. We know that this is Hindu nation and Hindus are the majority. But governments take care of the minorities in the country because they are united in the name of their religion. What about the majority Hindus? They are not allowed to unite. The mosques are the base camps of religious terrorism. The governments still unaware of the curriculum followed in Madrasas. Few days before a political leader belongs to the minority said that Muslims are not getting seats according to their population and he asked the seats reservation should be done according to population. Most of the questions posted by you could have been taken care by the NDA government which we voted to power atleast on the subsidies on haj, jerusalem, temple deposits etc. civil code i can understand we didnt have 2/3 majority in parliament. Atleast where we are in power we can pass law that we wont be taking money from our temples why is that not done? Then a answer will come out Allies will create problems. The question is why do we have such kind of people with us, anybody who is thrown out we accept them and give them positions. Its sad these kind of people rule us. Majority also has its right in India but the Hindu soceity is not standing unitedly its always fighting among itself over caste and other petty issues. Or is it a political conspiracy of minority vote bank politics of the UPA-Left? The way reports are appearing, I have serious doubts about the credibility of the investigating agency. When 'secular' parties demanded banning of Bajrang Dal & VHP along with SIMI, the Govt. said that they do not have sufficient reports against Bajrang Dal. Now they have to somehow satisfy the minorities- by hook or by crook. But there are so many missing links. As per the report, RDX has been used for the explosion. If it is ammonium nitrate explosive device, it is easily available in MP & UP. The other day I saw a TV program showing the units freely manufacturing crude guns and crude bombs. If it is RDX, from where did the accused persons get the material? Who made the triggering device? Army people never manufacture bombs. They only know how to use it and where to use it. Before the completion of the investigation, a few of the TV channels and news papers are broadcasting & publishing all false reports as if they are getting advance information from the investigating agency. I am furnishing below one of the headlines published in the Times of India front page "Lt Colonel sings, says he was Malegoan blast mastermind."- reported by Mateen Hafees. Even though the ATS' public prosecutor Ajay Misar had told the Nashik court on Saturday that the RDX allegedly stolen by Lt Col Prasad was used in the Samjhauta blast, on Sunday the ATS claimed that he has been misquoted by the media. Soon after Misar made the sensational charge in Nashik, the intelligence bureau (IB), which is keeping a close tab on the probe, alerted the Centre about the implications of Misar's statement. When the train blast took place, the Centre had blamed Pakistan's ISI for the terror strike on the basis of the bureau's findings. "But the ATS' charge on Friday would have seriously impaired the Centre's credibility internationally. The central government has been informing its counterparts in the US and other countries about the role of the ISI and here the ATS was claiming that the blast was the handiwork of a serving Indian Army officer. Forensic examination of the blast site and two unexploded bombs had conclusively proved that RDX was not used, but the ATS was levelling an allegation to the contrary," a senior bureau official observed. Meanwhile, the Centre is believed to have commended the Mumbai crime branch's investigation of the Indian Mujahideen's role in the Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai 7/11 blasts. Crime branch sleuths had arrested 20 persons and got their confessions about their alleged role in various blasts. Then human right activists, minority leaders et al were allowed to meet the accused persons without police presence and make inquiries. All those who met the accused came out with the unanimous conclusion that the accused persons were not tortured and had voluntarily confessed to their role in 7/11 and other blasts. 5
