Adimali: A teacher has raked up controversy by distributing pamphlets of evangelization in Rajakkad government school. The teacher, Moncy has allegedly distributed leaflets on Jesus Christ to children of Class Two. Hindu parents who spotted proselytizing material in their children’s bag raised a complaint against the teacher.

The Rajakkad unit of Hindu Aikya Vedi has sought an apology from the teacher. “The teacher draws salary from the government and proceeds with evangelizing tactics among Hindu students. The state education department must take action against such teachers,” said state member of HAV Swami Deva Chaitanya.

Sources have also indicated that the teacher is guilty of having taken classes similar to those taken in Sunday Schools and bringing literature related to Christianity on a regular basis to school.

School authorities and state education department are accused of indulging in behavior that disturbed teaching environment in school.
