Devaswom holds talks with Hindu organizations

GURUVAYUR: The Guruvayur Devaswom managing committee has begun talks with the leaders of various Hindu organisations to formulate a consensus on reforms to be implemented at the Sree Krishna temple to meet the contemporary needs.

The panel on Thursday held discussions with the delegations of Yogakshema Sabha and Kerala Ezhuthassan Samajam at the devaswom office.

While state president Sivadasan Namboothiri, general secretary Subrahmanyan Moosad and co- ordinator Sreekumar Thamarappally represented the Yogakshema Sabha, state general secretary P P Gopalakrishnan and joint secretary A N Radhakrishnan represented the Kerala Ezhuthasan Samajam in holding talks with the devaswom.

The devaswom panel led by chairman Thottathil Raveendran, and members Gokulam Gopalan, T R Harry, Shaju Sankar, M Vasudevan, administrator V Ratheesan and deputy administrator Vijayan Nambiar held discussions with the leaders.

The Hindu Aiykavedi delegation led by Kummanam Rajasekharan will hold talks with the devaswom on Friday.

Leaders of various Hindu organisations, spiritual, vedic and thantric acharyas will also arrive at Guruvayur to hold talks on reforms to be implemented at the temple in the coming days.
