The BJP leadership meet, which began here on Monday, decided to campaign against the CPI(M) violence through out the State and to create an awareness among the people about the modus operandi of the CPI(M) in the places where the party is strong.

Party State president PK Krishnadas told newspersons that the two-day leadership meet would discuss mainly on the organisational matters .

The party would conduct several programmes across the State on the Balidan Divas on December 1 in memory of Yuva Morcha State vice-president KT Jayakrishnan who was hacked to death by the CPI(M) men in an upper primary school in East Mokeri while he was teaching his students.

The BJP leadership is also planning to arrange a programme in Delhi along with the close relatives of those who was killed by the CPI(M) as also the handicapped party workers attacked by the CPI(M) goons.

The two day leadership meet of the party is attended by national secretary in charge of the organisation V Sathish and this assumes significance in the light of the renewed violence in Kannur district between the CPI(M) and the RSS cadre.

BJP leadership is aware of the political volatility of Kannur and Thalassery areas and the programme at Kannur gave a big boost to the cadre who are subject to torture by the police and the CPI(M) men.
