published on August 1, 2017

The first edition of ‘Aahuti’ was released by Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi on 25 September 2016 at the National Council Meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party, Kozhikode

The book release of Aahuti was rendered by the Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on 25 September 2016. Paying obeisance to the Balidanis and hailing their
efforts as a penance, Shri Narendra Modi pointed out in clear terms that violence is an undemocratic means, which should never be resorted to, just because one fails to tow in line with the ideology of another political faction. “The helpless cries of the karyakartas of Kerala have probably not reached Delhi. But today, i urge our karyakartas not to treat Aahuti as just another book you received during your stay in Kerala. Instead Aahuti should be debated upon and contemplated over, in all states of Bharat, atleast in three or four places, so that the voice (of those who have been wronged) reach Delhi.”

Shri Narendra Modi also urged the entire nation to stand up with the slain Karyakartas, for ‘their life and sacrifice remains exemplary and should serve as catalyst in stirring awake he
flames of democracy, over which intellectuals and other esteemed seers must ponder over.’

In September, Arti Kumari Sharma, a 20 year-old Hindu woman and school teacher, was on her way home when Ammer Wassan kidnapped her at gunpoint. Arti was taken to a mosque where she was forcibly converted to Islam & engaged to a man Amir Bux. She was forced to sign an & voluntarily converted to Islam. Heartbroken & fighting Arti’s family has taken the case to the police to no avail. Now, a court will decide Arti’s future. Unimaginably, the court is forcing Arti to stay with her husband until the hearing date of September 29.
Imagine what Arti’s life must be like right now & what it will continue to be if the court rules against her.. Abducted at gunpoint, forced to marry a stranger & raped, forced to adopt his religion. We need YOU to help ramp up public pressure on Paki Jihadi Govt to ensure that Arti Kumari Sharma is allowed to return to her family immediately. We need YOUR help ensure that her human rights are upheld in Jihadi land.
