Terror accused Soofiya Released in Bail

Kochi: Thanks to the soft approach of Kerala Government, Soffiya Madni is released in Bail. As per the directions of Home Ministry, Government Advocate haven’t raised any objections or produced evidences which will jeopardise the Bail application.

Terror accused Soofiya.........
Soofiya Madani, accused in the Kalamassery bus-burning case was 'arrested' and treated like a VIP in police custody and hospital ,and today granted bail, even though there is clinching evidence against her. But look at the way she was treated, in sharp contrast to a Hindu sanyasini who was arrested without any clinching evidence in the Malegaon blast case, booked under MACOCA, physically and mentally tortured, subjected to repeated narco-analysis tests, which were all negative. Even after the Mumbai court found no justification to keep her in jail under MACOCA, the Mumbai police has kept her in wrongful confinement. even now, without trial. Similar treatment has been given to Lt Col Purohit and another sanyasi. This raises the question: Is the Indian law equal for all? Certainly not! It is the so-called seculars(pseudo-seculars) who have promoted division and hatred in the society, and emboldened fundamentalists, thereby endangering the lives of peaceful citizens.

We respect the autonomy and freedom given to other community institutions to run their places of worship. Same freedom must be given to Hindus also
