Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam started functioning for an easy & exploit free Pilgrimage.

Pathanamthitta: Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam started a full, complete function to help devotees for an easy and exploit free pilgrimage, said Kummanam Rajasekharan , All India General Secretary SASS.  SASS will be having 65 centres in South India this year, in which Fifty in Kerala, Ten in Tamil Nadu, Three in Karnataka & Two in Andra Pradesh.  Each centre will provide Five basic Facilities like, Food, Drinking water, medical Aid, Accomodation & information. A total of Five Thousand trained volunteers will be appointed to each centres accordingly to help pilgrims.
 
With the support of Guruswamis, SASS started vegitable farms & cultivations for the Annadanam(food).  This project will be known as "Annadana Prabhu Karshika Yajna"  We use only Organic fertilizers. Along with that we started Cattle farms & organic fertilizer units for this projects, Kummanam told.
 
Perunadu, Koonankara, Erumeli & Kumali are the important Seva Centres of Kerala.  Each centres prepare food for Five thousand devotees.  Eighteen Acres of land has been acquired in Kunankara to provide parking, bath, accomadation etc.  Inaguration of this "Sabari Saranashramam' Seva Centre will be inagurated by Sabarimala Melsanti (chief Priest of Sabarimala) Vishnu Namboothiri at 10:00 AM on Nov 15th 2009.
 
The aim of SASS is to arrange Pilgrimage with the zero budget.  Other than seva centres, volunteers will be available in Medical Colleges & Govt Hospitals. Details and contacts of all Seva Centres will be distributed from the Seva Centres only.  And devotees can use these centres as help line, if they faced any difficulties while travelling.
