The Rashtra Raksha Sanchalan (RouteMarch) by RSS as part of Guruji Janmashadabdi Celebration from Bekel Fort, Northern part of Kerala to East Fort, Southern part of Kerala covering all districts of Kerala of 675 KM.

Irrespective of the blackout by the mainstream media of Kerala, the Rashtra Raksha Sanchalan has evoked widespread respect and adoration by the people of Kerala.The Ghosh Sanchalan, as part of the concluding ceremony on 26th Jan 2006 at Trivandrum which started from six different locations, converged at a single point and marched towards the University Stadium.

Thousands of Poorna Ganavesh Swayamsevaks, tableaus depicting scenes from our history and traditional art forms, elephants, and large number of public followed them giving a festive look to the Sangamam. Addressing the 10,000 odd Swayamsevaks and a mass of more than one lakh from the massive stage which had huge cutouts of Pazhassi Raja, Velu Thampi Dalawa and the Indian soldiers atop Tiger Hills with the tricolour, Shri Bhagwat called upon the Bharatiya Samaj to be in eternal vigilance against threats to its safety and security.

I am in Gujarat for the last 12 years. By comparing both the states, now, I can experience, the difficulties / obstacles facing by our brothers and sisters in Kerala to spread the message of Sangh, because of the intolerence nature of Psuedo secularist/communists - an idelology which has lost its relevance in todays world. I am sure a good number of swayamsevaks partcipated in the march are from the so called " Dalits'( for RSS all are Hundus ) . I have come across many RSS pracharaks in Kerala who are Dalits as per the so called caste system .They are respected by thousands of swayamsevaks and their families like all other pracharaks .

Even though I did not undersand the songs or the speeches I could make out the gist and feel the positive vibration. I also got to see part of Bharat I may never see. My heart felt Dhanyvad to the volunteers who marched such a long distance and organizers who made it success. Hope such marches take place all over our great nation.
