An open letter to the Atheists-Rationalists-Dravidians"From "A Proud Hindu"

 

 

“Dear Atheists-Rationalists-Dravidians!”

 

I am a Hindu and I am very proud to say so emphatically.

 

I am also not a fanatic and cannot hate any other religion, but when the persons of other religions hurt my fellow-Hindus, because we all are Hindus, I must admit that I am agitated.  But I have not reacted so far and I cannot foresee how my reactions will be in future.

 

I find the God in images, in stones, in good thoughts, in good words and in good deeds. I am awe-struck by the might of great God.  In this transient life, I find the humans as the tiniest of creatures and when I see their vagaries, fights, enmities, materialism, Atheism - - disbelief in the very existence of Lord Almighty etc., even when after seeing with our own eyes (to give a few evidences) like the vast Oceans, many splendors of nature, the Sun, the open sky etc., I simply pity the human creations, how we waste our time on almost nothing when we can do all possible things make our short life useful to us and others.

 

All said and done, I am also a human and wish to live as much as I can, a value-based life.

 

I would like to be a Hindu forever and I try to live as the best among the humans.

 

My God says, “Any Atheist is my first devotee, for he thinking of me constantly by scolding me always”.

 

There is no other religion in this world, which is more tolerant than Hindu religion.

 

But… Don’t underestimate the Hindus or take them for granted forever, because they do not get easily reacted or provoked even in dire circumstances. Their studied patience is entirely due to the traditional acceptance of this trait as a virtue and these are all born with the blood. (There may be some exceptions to any rule.)  They usually follow a four-step procedure for using force, and Force is the last step i.e., they follow Sama, Dana, Beda and Dhanda. They don’t enter into quarrel first, but being in, Hindus are extremely capable to make the opposed to regret because they have physical as well as more of mental / moral strength. But this trait as I said above, is not the sole property of Hindus alone, but can be mastered by anyone who follows the mind training or their family values and tradition.

 

Oh Atheists! You can break the Hindu Gods’ images or particularly, my dearest Lord Ganesh whether made in clay or stones or metals only just to provoke me and my fellow-Hindus and imagining that I will be easily insulted and feel hurt.  You can lick our Vaishnavite symbols or the holy-ashes put on their forehead and cut the sacred thread worn by some Hindus. Whatever the unpleasant things you do / did, the Hindus had been tolerating so long. Yes, ONLY so long. Yet I feel insulted and hurt but I still exercise my own values for action for some time. 

 

Normally, I really cannot think of hurting anyone physically, or by any of my other actions. But there is a limit to any patience and tolerance.

 

Many of my geysers in the following pages may be hurting your feelings, since you have taken us for granted, and as a routine, you are crossing all limits of decency and started hurting the Hindu feelings everyday as demons did in mythological times. Even now these expressions are meant to educate you for the present.

 

Oh!! Rationalist- Atheists, you act as if the traditional Atheists and Rationalist for generations, as mouthed by your famous ‘the Great Rationalist-father-for-you-all’ (Pakuththarivu Thanthai) Erode V. Ramasami Naiker (EVR)– even he was not able to cast away his caste’s name tugged to his name”Naiker”)

 

This point that he was a born non-believer of God is 100 %, a crystal clear total lie. But ‘EVRs’ Black Shirt party chief Veeramani, the present Senior-most leader of Dravidian Party and the heir apparent of EVR’s fortunes, quite often mouths that EVR was a born disbeliever of God from his childhood, and it is only to hoodwink his party men. He has no courage to admit this fact.

 

The few facts are given below. He was a staunch devotee of God, till at least his 46^th age. (Refer to his first Issue of ‘Kudiyarasu’ dated 2^nd May 1925 wherein he invokes the blessings of God in his Editorial and his opening speech when welcoming the Chief Guest who inaugurated the issues had the full and lengthy expressions invoking the God, and the Chief Guest was none other than the God-man Sri-la-Sri Swami of his days).

 

Very many instances likewise can be quoted from only his own published items etc., on the demise of many persons of his days.

 

Anyway, muster your courage to erect similar statues of Pakuththarivu Thanthai Periyar, EVR, in front of all the Mosques and Churches [as you had already erected in front of famous Raja Gopuram of Srirangam of Lord Sri Ranganatha, a Hindu Temple] with the exact inscription of the pearls of wisdom (as given below):

·        There is no God - There is no God - There is no God

·        There is no God at all

·        The inventor of God is a fool

·        The propagator of God is a scoundrel

·        The worshipper of God is a barbarian

For that I even suggest the following places in priority, (first in Tamil Nadu) one, in front of famous Nagore Islamic Darga, two, Velankanni Mother’s Catholic Church and three, in front of Santhome Church, in Chennai, let alone in front of ‘Jumma Masjid’ of Delhi or in font of my cherished and sacred ‘Ram Mandir’ to be consecrated in Ayodhya, in the exact location of Babri building.

 

If only you can do this in Tamil Nadu, you can transform the whole India and then the entire world according to the prescription given by your EVR.

 

Then EVR – Periyar will become another Prophet Muhammad and all your ‘Blood-brothers’ (Raththathin Raththams as quite often so addressed in Public Meetings and letters to his Party men written by Karunanidhi, the present Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in his party publication, “Murasoli”) can write the Neo-Prophet’s Revelation as “Periyarism” like Qur’an of Islam and his contemporaries can add an appendix or a subsidiary book (like Hadith and Sunnah of Islam), depicting their personal experiences with the ‘Neo-Prophet’ when he was alive, into a Black Book (like the Redbook of Mao-Tse-Tung of China) explaining your Dravidian-Rationalist-Atheist Philosophy!  I suggest as Black Book, because it is your very favourite colour.

 

If needed, we, the Theists can give a list of points to begin with to compose your Black Book on “Periyarism” on the following topics quoting exactly his views on the following:

 

1.      On Tamil Language, its Literature, its contents, its future & its great Savants, Scholars, Polymaths, Grammarians and Linguistic Scientists, especially against Thiruvalluvar, the most-revered by the entire world for his incomparable Thirukkural – the best book on Moral Codes, thus exhibiting EVR’s innate and complete ignorance so explicitly on many matters expressed,

 

2.      His loathsome expressions about Tamil people, himself being a Kannadiga and he was never hesitant to say so,

 

3.      On Benefits of jettisoning Tamil Language and taking up English as the main language for all purposes,

 

4.      On Women, the basic irrelevance of Chastity, uni-dresses like men, banning Marriage as Institution, on Pregnancy, breast-feeding etc., etc.,

 

5.      On Indian Nationhood,

 

6.      On Indian Constitution,

 

7.      0n DMK and its present-day leaders who once belonged to EVR’s party and with choicest expletives, especially on Late Annadurai and others why they left his Dravidian party to form Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (Dravidian Progressive Party),

 

8.      On the principles to be followed by the Elected Representatives of the people like MLAs, and MPs, (i.e., no elected MLA or MP should stand for election for a third term), By EVR’s standard, TN CM Karunanidhi is the most disqualified person, who shamelessly professes to say that he is following EVR’s ideals. It seems that this rule is only applicable to other party men and them!!

 

9.      On Castes, Creeds, Communities,

 

10. On Islam,

 

11. On Christianity,

 

12. On Hinduism,

 

13. On Brahmins,

 

14. On Congress Party,

 

15. On our National Tricolour Flag,

 

16. Our first Independence Day in 1947,

 

17. On Gandhiji’

 

18. On Communism,

 

And many more of his principles and preaching often were written in his “Viduthalai” (meaning “Freedom”) publication by EVR.

 

I am very hopeful that the above tips can trigger you into action, if only you think you are capable!

 

But I don’t think you will ever be capable to do such a principled action ever in your life as you have been jettisoning your avowed principles one by one from the days of Justice Party, your father’s father party.  Is that not so?

 

But you may not do this magnum opus, the Black Book for the following reasons: -

 

·        First, there can be only inconsistencies in EVR’s ideals, because your leader was such a turn-coat throughout his life with bundle of contradictions,

·        Second, his ideals will never stand to any reason at all, except one of them like elections to MPs & MLAs.

·        Third, he was an anti-Indian in many expressions, which no true Indian will ever tolerate

·        Fourth, whole world will laugh at you for your self expose-idiotic contents once written exactly without any omission or commission as per EVR’s various mouthing and writings in black and white.

 

In all topics suggested above, your EVR had vomited only venom & expletives. So psychologically, he can only be termed as a hater of entire humanity or a mental-case.

 

Otherwise, for your ultimate profitability as usual (!) at the end of the day, you may also think that it will never serve any useful purpose to write a Black Book on “Periyarism”, and so it is better utilise the time and energy for earning your living.

 

Again, I challenge you erect the statues in front of Mosques and Churches, or other places of worship, first in Tamil Nadu, since you are an Atheist or a Rationalist.  Let’s talk about the erection in other States later on.

 

You also wanted that persons of all castes and communities should become Priests or Pujaris in Hindu temples with Tamil as the medium for all purposes i.e., all persons mean including the persons who have no faith in God and your party men are full of them. You are now going to make it as a State Law. 

 

I cannot imagine why a party which is denying the very existence of God, should be so interested in Pooja and Pujaris of Hindu Temples except to smite the Hindus only or for your ulterior motives. It only reveals your meanest sadism.

 

Then, you should follow the same principles for Mosques, Churches, Jain Mandirs, Gurudhwaras, Buddist Monasteries, and Fire Temples of Parsis etc., first at least in Tamil Nadu. You are also sitting in a position of strength, to compel the Congress Government to agree to your way of thinking or threaten them that you will withdraw your support in the Centre unless they support your move in the State and this principle should be made into an Act of Parliament applicable throughout India. They will also kneel before you for anything now. For this you can rally the support of all Communists, Left Right and Centre. The time is ripe now.

 

But, primarily I don’t know how far your Islamic friends will swallow this magnificent idea and help you in this matter. Anyhow, You must still try.

 

If you dare to do these, then, I shall hold all of you as people of real-stuff and people with Principles.

 

Oh! You Atheists! You will never dare to do it for the reasons you and we believers of God know.

 

Then, if you don’t, then, calling yourself, as Atheists would actually be a misnomer i.e., you hate only Hinduism and hateful towards my Hindu brethren and other religions are never hated but even accepted. Then, you cannot consider yourself as Atheist or Rationalist.

 

Oh!! The so-called Rationalist- Atheists!!

 

You all know that many of you, including some of your leaders do attend the Allah (Islamic God) believers’ Ifthar-party during Ramzan donning the headgear of believers of Allah with all reverence and part-take the gruel and other eatables made for the occasion and do not fail to take photographs and videos of their presence for the occasion and publish them in the media (at the least for publicity).  So, you, Atheists-Rationalists here become qualified-rationalist or neo-believers of God just only for the occasion to get the votes from these Islamists for impending (!) political elections.

 

What does it reveal about you, except as ‘time-servers’?

 

My question is: How can a non-believer of God attend the God believer’s ritual?

 

One of your Senior-most Rationalist leaders Karunanidhi, is always donning a particular coloured shawl at all times and he has the cheeks to say as if he has taken birth to eradicate superstition. He also does not disapprove, one of his wives falling unto the feet of God-man Puttaparthi Satya Saibaba for His blessings in his very house and in his own presence surrounded by some of his party functionaries with a beaming face but he has no compunction when he says that he does not believe in God.

 

In the front page cover of “Thuglak’ magazine dated 23^rd June 2004, an image was published which depicted his honourable son who is now his cabinet colleague and Ex-Mayor of Chennai Municipal Corporation, along with his grand-nephew who is now the Union Minister of UPA Government, with bowed head praying before the Hindu deity reverently part-taking the prasads offered by the Hindu Brahmin-priest.

 

The talk of ‘Atheism cum Rationalism’ in the early years was like that of a voluptuous young girl with excellent vital statistics for salivating adolescents and many of their followers had been attracted towards such short-lived physical features of that young lady.

 

Now with the onset of old age or menopause, those gritty sex-oozing physical features begin to sag or wither away and lose that old charm. This is what is happening now in the case of Atheism and Rationalism.

 

The attraction is only for a short duration by grace of God.

 

Do you (Atheists & Rationalists) know that Bhagavad-Gita had become a textbook even in some the American Business schools too. Of course, I don’t expect you all to know these latest facts of the world thinking and incidents.

 

Do you (Rationalist and Atheists) say that your Erode principles (EVR’s) are more advanced than all civilized world especially, or better than our Indian ancient wisdom praised by many great persons of West? 

 

The following is your so far proved and apparent political philosophy now (or is it your smoke screen to exist?) as political party: -

 

“Whoever comes to the power in the Centre, you ‘Atheists-Rationalists’ will support them irrespective of any of your avowed basic philosophy [to quote just one is enough – you have jettisoned your cardinal basic item – ‘Adainthal Dravidanadu illai enil sudukadu’ – meaning ‘we have to get a separate Dravidastan / Dravida Nadu or else the next alternative is only cemetery meaning as death is preferable’], thus showing that your political party is still alive, gratefully acknowledging the doles offered by the centre from time to time”.  You both are shameless in many ways.

 

One thing I will tell you.

 

The history gives abounding incidents that the Rationalist or Atheists have never won finally and there is always the tradition of their defeats.  These very Rationalists or Atheists finally acknowledge existence of God.

 

If some of the notorious disciples of Thanthai Periyar’ are allowed endlessly to display their Atheism-Rationalism-games, and if the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, [the Senior-most leader of DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) expressing himself as a Rationalist and Atheist and a staunch follower of footsteps of ‘EVR’] doesn’t stop them, then, he will end up into deepest misery.

 

It is in the name of this ‘EVR’ “ Periyar” a Film under production depicting “Periyar’s entire life, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister who also belongs to a Dravidian Party was so magnanimous to donate from the State Exchequer, i.e., the taxpayers’ money, in terms of lakhs of rupees (Is it not 90 lakhs of rupees?) unscrupulously and ignoring the feelings of innocent tax-payers who many of them never subscribe to Dravidian jokes / principles. This is an example of “Robbing Peter and paying Paul”.

 

It is like the Dictator of France Louis XIV who arrogantly once said, “I am the State. Things are done wrong because I wish it”.  Everyone knows what had happened to that dictator! Arrogant rulers more by ill luck of subjects have always met their gory end very ignominiously and brutally!!

 

By allowing these wild-dances publicly, the things will reach a point-of-no-return for the opponents of Rationalists and Atheists all over India and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has to take the entire responsibility on the outcome.

 

(But when it comes to your neck, a different surrender-version followed by a written apology letter exactly in opposite-terms may be submitted later on like what had been done some years ago in the public Court of Law to escape a conviction for actually burning the Indian Constitution book / its pages, so stating “TIMIDLY” and without any “GUTS” and “SHAME” that the agitators had burnt only ordinary papers and not the Indian Constitution book / pages! But the agitation was advertised, publicised and held only for burning the Indian constitution).

 

Such is your self-respect and indomitable guts of you, all Rationalists-Atheists!!!

 

Some of your party men who have no faith in God, are selling their wares in their shops opened just on the sides of these temples to make a living.

 

Can there be a more shameless living with the earnings, using God’s name selling God’s images and using His premises by your God-haters?

 

What does it show? You will do anything just for money without any scruples or principles.

 

As people, who do not have any faith in God, you need not go to Temples, Churches or Mosques.  But who the hell are you to stop the believers from going to the Temples or doing their religious activities? 

 

The same followers to this cult of Atheists-Rationalists once had fallen unto the feet of Englishmen when they had to leave the shores of our Motherland-Hindustan in 1947, actually bewailed and sang songs of sorrow ‘threnody’ (Oppari in Tamil) ‘not to go out of Indian soil and leave them in the lurch’ (PokAthE PokAthE en kanavA – a song in Tamil especially sung in ancient days, when a Hero-husband leaves his home for War or any job of importance, if his wife had bad dreams about his impending death). 

 

These Atheist-Rationalists also declared our first Independence Day in 1947, as Mourning-Day. 

 

Are they not facts? Just disprove, if you can. 

 

So, the mobs who have no love for their Motherland, how can anyone expect them to have the faith in God or vice-versa? You all can descend to any level of indecency while others normally cannot, unless pushed beyond a tolerance limit.

 

You can actually count the real Atheists by process of elimination and there can only be just a few in hundreds in Tamil Nadu. The only difference is that these mobs will descend to any level of indecency while others will never stoop down to their level at the first instance.

 

 I have seen some of your famous Atheists-Rationalist-blood brothers (‘Raththathin Raththams’) in temples of Thiruppathi or Palani shrines for worship with the Holy ashes or Hindu symbols on their forehead. You will also not need proof for these words.

 

• What a worst type of chameleons you all are!


• Is your Atheism & Rationalism a business for your leaders?


• What is point in repeating the same lies over and over again like Goebbels of Hitler’s Germany and expect that the repeated lies will become the established truth after some days? You know what had happened to that inveterate liar including his master.


• Why are you banking on the short memory of your followers?

 

But now we, and your Ex-followers do keep a vigil over you more than ever and poring through your every old and latest mouthings / actions especially of your late father-for-you-all “Thanthai (EVR) Periyar” and all your Dravidian leaders (dead & alive) and accumulated voluminous facts with proofs chronologically. First, we intend writing in Tamil to educate our youths & the people of Tamil Nadu and then in other languages of India about you and your movement. Let the people judge / identify you in the proper perspective.

 

We have the synergy of entire Hindu Population of whole of Hindustan / world as against the atheist-rationalist-mobs. We will not be wanting in manpower to take on you all when the time comes. Patience is running out for Theists and Believers of God. 

 

This may erupt into anything in any manner.

 

Now, you have opened your dirty mind about re-writing the Indian Constitution just to fulfil another of your personal sadism. Let me write about this when your great demand gets into a crescendo!

 

We Theists are ever ready for a showdown as taught by my Lord Krishna in Kurukshethra, adaptable to present day modern conditions and world situations.

 

Don’t thrust mental or otherwise, continuous bickering among our own people of Tamil Nadu and Hindustan as we still feel that we are after all Indians and belong to the same nation. We all can still live together without these sort of differences or enmities due to Religions and Regions.

 

Any accident, May God forbid, if it takes place, bear it! You all will be the first worst affected victims!

 

Just think over!!
