Condolence Message by RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat on demise of Dr Verghese Kurien.

We are deeply saddened by the news of the demise of Dr. Varghese Kurien, well-known world over as the Milk Man and Father of White Revolution. Coming from a humble background in Kerala Dr. Kurien rose to become the leader of the cooperative milk production movement initially in Gujarat but which finally led to the creation of the National Dairy Development Board in the country, an umbrella body of tens of thousands of cooperatives.

Today if millions of farmers dependent on dairy industry are leading successful cooperatives through which millions more are leading happy lives, the credit should go to Dr. Kurien. But for his vision, perseverance and practical business wisdom the milk cooperatives movement started by stalwarts like Morarjibhai Desai and Sardar Patel wouldn’t have survived
and AMUL wouldn’t have become the household “Taste of India” today.

Dr. Kurien was also a thorough patriot firmly rooted in Bharatiya ethos and culture. It was his sincere love for the nation and society that brought him in close contact with the second RSS Chief P.P. Sri Golwalkar (Guruji). Dr. Kurian cherished his friendship with Guruji and fondly and reverentially remembered about it in his autobiography ‘I too had a Dream’.

In the demise of Dr. Kurien the country has lost a beloved son and the millions and millions of dairy farmers engaged in over 100,000 cooperatives a father-figure.

On behalf of the Swayamsevaks of the RSS I pay my respectful homage to the departed soul and pray to the Almighty that it may be accorded a befitting place at His altar.

I offer my condolences to all the near and dear of Dr. Kurien.

Satish Chandra 11/09/2012 09:41:58	Response To Mr. Balakrishnan This is to point out to Mr. Balakrishnan that what Christians believe regarding salvation is a matter of their faith - and for them to believe. But if we see the broader picture - Did Christians cleans Kashmir of hindus? Did Christians create panic by sending SMS to people from north east? Are 90% of crimes in India - from heinous murders to bomb blasts to petty theft burglary committed by Christians. Do Christians run away with daughters of other communities? How many criminals across India are Christians ? Are non-Christians treated as second class citizens in European countries or in USA? Compare this with how Hindus were driven out of Pakistan and Bangla Desh post-partition - i.e. Hindus were driven out of their own land by force and those who could save their lives were left absolute beggars. Even they were driven out in their own country in Kashmir - where there is an Indian goverment that rules - and secular parties like Khangress that rules. Hindus would soon face extermination in India - everyday media reports indicate how many Hindus have been killed with tacit support of anti-India forces. This is another silent way of cleansing India, which is passed on as criminal activity - in reality is a political conspiracy to cleanse India. But Hindus would never realise and vote for psuedo-secular anti-Hindu parties, which protect terrorists and their friends by looking the other way. Hindus think for once about their future, before pretending secular in the garb of pseudo-secular. Satish Chandra.

Tell me Mr. Chandra ,does any follower of any Christian faith believes that salavation is possible without following Christ and Christianity ? The truth is that Xians are using all unfair means for converison ,not just in tribal belt,but even in a place like Kerala.
