1,240 Christians including a pastor came back to Hinduism

Bhubaneswar: A total of 1,240 converted Christians, including a pastor, returned to Hinduism at a home coming programme organised by the Dharma Jagran Vibhag at Batamul Ashram in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh neighbouring Odisha. Out of 1,240 persons, 1,080 persons are from Odisha and 160 persons are from Chhattisgarh. Member of the Parliament Shri Dillip Singh Judev was present on the occasion. The programme was organised with the help of Gayatri Parivar and Arya Samaj.

A Pancha Kundiya Yajna was organised on this occasion. A Kalas Yatra and Pravachan programme was also held on this occasion. A former pastor, Bandhna Oram, also returned to Hinduism. He said he had converted many Hindus to Christianity. “I shall try to bring them back to Hindu fold, as it will be my prayashchit,” he said.

National secretary of Dharma Jagran Vibhag, Shri Rajendra, State secretary Shri Binay Bhuyan, Shri Arun Kumar Panda, Shri Mahesh Tripathy and others were also present on the occasion. Leading saint Dharmanadji Maharaj and some other saints of Mahima Sect were also present.

Lisa MIller's article "we are all Hindus anyways" created a wave in America. Sanatana Dharma is getting wide acceptance as a way of life. According to Hinduism today. There are 3 million Hindus in America and lot more in the waiting...

Glad the ex-pastor is showing determination to revert Hindus after having converted them to christianism previously. Clearly he understands duty and justice: it's not enough to be comfortably back in Hindu religion himself, he must at least bring back all those he had formerly led away. And then continue with the same determination to bring back many more to Hindu religion, to get them all safely back home again.

Rajagopal 08/08/2012 22:04:39	great home coming! It is really praiseworthy both of dharmajagaran vibhag,gayatri parivar,aryasamaaj as well as the home-comer Hindus. In India the converters to other faiths are originally Hindus and most of them having disgrunted and frustrated by the illusions and falsehood created by their converters as well as their cruel practices and non-liberal customs especially to ladies which R not at all existent in their ancestral Hindu religion tend to come back to their Hindu fold of high cultural and spiritual ethos which does not restrict anybody by way of stringent religious fatwas or dictums. Hence it is need of the hour that these platforms like gayatri parivar , etc., should be widened nation-wide and encourage such peaceful and voluntary re-conversions so that the evils of past ancestral conversions which bharat has been facing get mitigated paving a way to All-Nationalist bharat with one unit of religion which is the very foundation for a Nation to stay strong and undivided. United we stand-divided we fall. This is what is happening due to weakening of indigenous religion by external invaded religions. Peaceful and voluntary reconversion only can achieve this goal.
