CBSE tarnish Sree Narayana Guru as a caste leader

Efforts to portray Sree Narayana Guru as a Ezhava caste leader and a Anti Hindu is still one of the favourite item among the agenda envisaged by enemies of Hindus.
Marxist historians and intellectuals were prominent behind this propaganda. According to latest poison injected in CBSE syllabus Sree Narayana Guru wanted his followers to worship Guru only! .

The syllabus comes in the curriculum of class 8, in the subject social science, in a text book named ‘Our Pasts”. The lesson Sree Narayana Guru comes in the 3rd section, chapter 9. It also has grossly misleading statements like “Gurudevan lived only for the Ezhava community”. In short a perfect recipe for a malicious propaganda.

This falsified data has been in circulation among students since 2008. Here goes another paragraph about this greatest son of Hinduism- “SreeNarayana Guru was a guru from the lower caste section of the Ezhavas. He was instrumental in creating awareness amongst his people to remain united. He had always maintained that people belonging to the same community or caste should always maintain unity amidst themselves. One should always believe only in a single Guru and that should be him (Sree Narayana Guru) only. “

This syllabus, which has been denigrating one of the most enlightened souls ever seen, has been in circulation for almost 4 years, among scores of students both in Kerala and outside the state.

“The particular section that is being taught not only denies the greatness that has been bestowed upon him, but also it distorts the entire nobility of his personality,” said Prof. Sanu. “This is gross injustice as well. Such misleading descriptions should never make its way into school syllabus, even unknowingly,” he stated, adding that an enquiry should be commissioned into the matter immediately.

VED from VICTORIA INSTITUTIONS 07/11/2012 21:47:16	Lower Caste? I think the thing that would hurt most would be the term 'lower caste'. It is time to leave out this definition and also to remove reservations based on this. As to Sree Narayana Guru, he was a great personage no doubt, but connecting him to a term of 'low caste' may not be appropriate. Social hierarchy is not solely based on caste, but more on the feudal languages of India. People who come out in support of Guru Sree Narayana, are the same persons who support feudal languages.

If this is not the truth then we all will be united under the name Hindus rather than split as NSS, SNDP, KGKS, KPMS etc...This gives the anti hindus/politicians to propagate their agenda and live their luxurious life. Basically we all are idiots... If we still not understand our situation then we have to complete our life as in Pakistan. The united minority vs. divided majority is miserable. G 22/07/2012 23:09:55	Object to Falsification ! (Not to denigration) Whether there is denigraiton or not is a different matter in which CBSE can argue subjectively this way or that. The evident falsification should be objected to. As far as I know, Guru never asked any specific community to "have faith in one guru alone that is himself". A wise man would never do that. The source of the malicious propaganda needs to be ferreted out and punished. A lawsuit should be launched by the SNDP and all progressive Kerala Hindu historians.

Radhakrishna Panicker 21/07/2012 23:04:14	The Universal Guru, Narayana Guru The denigration to the Universal Guru must be condemned. This book must be withdrawn. Those who are responsible for the biased and derogatory remarks about Sreenarayana Guru appered in CBSE/NCERT text book must be punished and the authorities concerned shall take all steps not to repeat this type of blunders to happen in future.

Vijayalakshmi 20/07/2012 20:20:58	Sree Narayana Guru Hindus of Kerala must strongly protest against the disinformation campaign of the marxist-dominated education Dept.,whether it is CBSE or any other,which is bent on denigrating anything and anyone associated with Hinduism.It is a pity that in 'literate'Kerala,this denigration went un-noticed for 4yrs!

Religious conversion by missionary activity remains an act of violence. It is an act of violence because it hurts deeply, not only the other members of the family of the converted, but the entire community that comes to know of it.
