ABP News denigrates Ramayan

Recently 'Star News' was totally acquired by 'Anand Bazar Patrika Group' (ABP Group) and now they have renamed news channel as 'ABP News'. ABP News have created a video titled 'Namayana' which contains denigration throughout the advertisement. The advt. makes mockery of Prabhu Shriram, Sita Mata and Shri Lakshman by portraying them as modern Shriram, Sita and Lakshman who are watching ABP News. It is shown that they get news of disappearance of Ravan from Lanka through ABP News, then after kicking Lakshman out of the house, Shriram whispers something in Sita's ear. With the help of the trick told by Shriram, she gets rid of Ravan.

The description of You-Tube video reads 'A funny take on Sita's apaharan (abduction) scene from the Ramayana. The Ravana scene is a comedy video done with a spoof on present day celebrity characters.'

This is nothing but the grave insult of Prabhu Shriram, Sita Mata and Shri Lakshman. These Deities are revered by billions of Hindus worldwide. Hence, by insulting Hindu Deities 'ABP News' has committed a serious sin and hurt religious sentiments of billions of Hindus. Now it is duty of all devout Hindus worldwide to protest lawfully against anti-Hindu ABP News, so that they should immediately withdraw this advertisement from Internet and TV channels. Also it should render unconditional apology for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus. Also, Hindus should boycott ABP News completely, so that they should realise their mistake and should not repeat such mistake in the future.

M.Gopalan 27/06/2012 04:24:50	ABP News One more channel has gone into the hands of enemies of Hindus and Bharath.Transplantation of civilization is the latest tool in the hands of our enemies which they are using efficiently with the help of our intellectuals and medias.By the denigration of the Hindu mythological characters they are trying to destroy the indigenous faith and civilization of the masses.Medias are playing a major role in promoting the western culture and to attract the Hindus into western life styles. See the western dress our TV anchors and news readers wear.They think only uncivilized people would wear Indian dresses.I have noticed some Hindi female news readers not only wearing western dress but also trying hard to imitate the accent of Mark Tully of BBC or other foreigners who speak Hindi well. I would like to remind Star News and ABP the fate of Late MF Hussain.He had to flee the country because of his mischievous paintings of female Hindu goddesses and Bharath maa.He died as a sad man in a foreign country as a unwanted person,in painful nostalgia of the country gave him birth,name and fame.Only during his final days he realized the greatness of his mother land whom he disrobed and insulted with his paintings. No person or organization how ever mighty, could survive in this country hurting the religious and national sentiments of the masses. When some alleged derogatory comments against the minorities appear in our media our so called secular Government spring into action.But when Hindus or our mother land are insulted the Govt is turning a blind eye or looking other side. Only through mass protest and boycott of the offending channels we could bring in a halt to Hindu bashing being carried out by the medias. Your portal is doing a commendable job to arouse the awareness of Hindus and their patriotism.You are doing a great work . Please carry on.We all are with you.
Vilasni 24/06/2012 19:40:25	ABP news Hinduism's biggest enemy, the one that is responsible for influencing many young Hindus against the religion of their ancestors and one of the most meaningful ways of life in theh world, is the media, not only in India but around the world. The worst thing is that in India most of those who indulge in insulting the religion and its followers are people who were born into Hindus families, These perverts are especially found in the movie industry, producers, directors, actors, most of them carry Hindus names but do everything they can to insult Hinduism. and the only way we can stop them is to hit them where it hurts most, financilly, by boycoting such movies and TV channels.
