Marginalisation of Hindus causing unrest in Congress

The unrest prevalent in the Congress Party, which had once subsided, has now raised its leering head once again. This comes in wake of the finale of Neyyatinkara by-elections held recently. The allegations against them are that the leaders representing the majority community and backward communities have been completely marginalized by the Congress Party.

Another factor that goes behind the allegations are the forth coming Rajya Sabha elections. The allegations against Congress are that most of positions allotted in the Board and Corporations have been handed over to people of the minority community. Prime among allegations are that even senior positions earlier allotted to those belonging to members of the Hindu community now belong to these people. Earlier it appeared that all posts allotted for IUML and KC were handed over in total to members of minority community. Now it is the turn of the Congress to do it on an exclusive basis.

Some of the glaring examples of these are :

·        KP Nooruddhin: President, Khadi Board

·        Solomon Alex: President, State Mortgage Bank

·        Lal Varghese Kalpakavadi: Chairman, Horticorp

·        Joy Thomas: Chairman, Consumerfed

·        Vijayan Thomas: Chairman, KTDC

·        Padmini Thomas: President, Sports Council (these posts were earlier handled by C Mohanahandran and Shooranadu Rajashekharan)

·        Kunji Illampilly: Chairman, Cooperative Examination Board (it is also rumoured that he happens to be the relative of a state minister too)

·        PJ Joy: Chairman, Bamboo Corporation (he was fomer MLA too)

·        Tony Chimmani: Mayor, Kochi Corporation (he is said to have shoved aside KPCC Bharavahi N Venugopal in the recently concluded local administrative body elections.

Right from the time it assumed leadership, the present government has constantly been under flak for gross negligence and complete ignoring of leaders hailing from Hindu community. They have been accused of bowing conveniently for the benefit of those higher-ups from Churches and financially influential section.

Raghunath 10/06/2012 18:06:07	Win back Congress for the Hindus Completely agree with Prakash. Hindus must join Congress in big numbers and take it, win it back for the Hindus!!! Don't let Congress become the party of the minorities, by the minorities, for the minorities. Make a democratic system of choosing the leaders within Congress, then how could the Hindus be marginalised? All Hindus must start joining Congress and demand to be able to campaign for the leadership. If not allowed, they then must break up the Congress party.

R.M.Nair 09/06/2012 22:55:21	To Prakash. Once upon a time when the power was transferred from British to Congress party, India had nearly 90% Hindus. And they had no other party to vote for. The Hindus went on voting for that party in successive elections. And the result is evident now. Hindu have been marginalized, reduced in numbers, neglected in policies, others are appeased. Remember, there will be no other or so called secular party in India when the other main minority will become majority. That includes this party called congress too. Till then the congress will go on making them grow with their special policies.

Prakash 09/06/2012 10:37:49	Congress & HK If you are not voting for congress, you have no moral right to interfere in the internal affairs of the congress. Every time, you work to defeat congress and cry you are not properly represented. Disolve BJP and join congress, so congress will get lot of Hindu leaders and it cannot ignore Hindus or else keep quite.
Ravi 09/06/2012 10:20:37	I do not..... Frankly writing, I do not believe that there is is any Hindu left in that party. Their acting as Hindus is to deceive real Hindus in India. Most of them have pawned their backbone to minorities. They may not have converted formally, but they do have separate goddess/god to worship like (the great madame and son). Working against Hinduism is their new religion's dharma. At least the other opposition has a few Hindus left in it.

I have written to RTI forums and Census Board itself but haven't heard back anything at all. I believe Hindus should push for the numbers. That is the smoking gun that we have been looking for. Please create awareness among readers to pressurize authorities to disclose those numbers.

Her intention of continuing in power is to put maximum damage to Hindus, with the support of western religious groups. She is systematically involved in destroying the majority community and their culture with the support of those active Hindu haters & minority propagators. She and her party damaged our community than those Muslim invaders.

We have to beat the common enemy of majority people the secular parties of various hues like Khangress, SP, Trinamool Congress etc. The recent utterings from people like Yeduyarappa, Viajayaraje Scindia etc does not bode well for the party in next election. How are we going to beat the scam ridden, corrupt anti-peoples party of Khangress & save our motherlanf from total destruction?
