V Muraleedharan Visits the Home of TP Chandrashekharan

State President of BJP, V Muraleedharan visited the family of slain Marxist revolutionary TP Chandrashekharan. Muraleedharan reached the residence at Onchiyam at 10.00 am yesterday morning. He spoke in length with the leader’s wife Rema and offered solace to his devastated mother. There were no efforts made in concealing the pain he experienced as he shared the anguish of the family, which is still reeling under shock. As he met Chadrashekharan’s father KK Madhavan and interacted with him, he said that any difference of opinion should never have been taken to task with a knife. Muraleedharan spent almost 30 minutes at Chandrashekharan’s home. Later he spent a few minutes in prayer at the spot where the mortal remains were cremated and offered floral tributes.

Later, as Muraleedharan addressed the press, he said that this should be one incident that should put the entire CPM to shame. “The disgraceful setback they suffered must serve as a lesson for them and prompt them to retreat from any kind of violence hereafter. Let not the investigation submit itself or fall a prey to any kind of political hindrances and come to an unjust halt. After the arrest of Area Committee leaders, the entire investigation has come to a near standstill. There is practically no attempt to hasten the probe or nab the real culprits who are now hiding. Those who allege that there is a conspiracy behind the slackening pace of investigation cannot be blamed either, “ said Muraleedharan.
