Hindus in Neyyattinkara could change the political equations in Kerala
31/05/2012 14:41:28  HK Correspondent

Today evening the election campaigning in Neyyattilkara comes to an end.  Though O.Rajagopal appears to be the front runner, UDF has deployed all its resources to ensure victory for their candidate. All ministers, ex-ministers, MLAs, Ex-MLAs, KPCC officials, Central ministers like AK Antony have been to the door steps of Neyyattilkara residents with all kinds of promises; offers and the misuse of government machinery have been very evident. There has not been any kind of interference from Election Commission who was very studious to limit the speakers on BJP candidate’s campaign vehicles.  When election campaign commenced, it has been Vellappally Natesan who off and on came out with remarks about the possibility of Hindu polarization and how conducive the atmosphere in the constituency where the Nadar community is in majority followed by Nairs and Ezhavas.  Even the NSS leadership showed some signs of `Sari Dooram’. But on 28 May, Vellappally in a statement requested the Ezhava community to cast their vote intelligently instead of sending out an appeal to vote for O.Rajagopal. He deliberately inflicted yet another blow with the prediction that O.Rajagopal may secure about 25,000 votes.  Such a remark was unwanted and uncalled for and definitely aimed at helping the UDF candidate because during the parliament election he secured 45,000 votes from Neyyattinkara and it could only go up in present scenario.  Like the NSS, SNDP also remain obliged to the UDF for the favors the leaders must be gaining from the ruling front and they are least bothered to see a Hindu getting elected from Neyyattinkara which could not bring any good to them. Or else, what prevented them from requesting the Hindus in the constituency to vote for the BJP candidate while they keep lamenting about the high handedness of Muslim League and Kerala Congress.

It is time for the Nairs, Ezhavas and all other Hindu orginsations in the state to put up all their resources to awaken the conscious of Hindus in Neyyattilkara constituency and make them cast their vote for O.Rajagopal who in spite of repeated failures have shown the guts to stand for the election on popular demand and  presented a very systematic campaign.  He lacks the government machinery, media support, colourful road shows and fake promises and assistance in cash and kind. If the Hindus in Neyyattinkara  elect the BJP candidate that would put an end to the UDF/LDF political gimmicks in the state and herald the advent of a useful political solution which could free the state from the shackles of religious minorities.  Let such a twister develop at Neyyattilkara and then move through all the districts upto Kasargod.

Do not think that NSS and SNDp has command over their members...
Many ppl think that these ppl like Sukumaran Nair and Vellappally have influence in votes of their org memmebers.....they do not have ir...else why did not say clearly in last election whom they r going to vote.....do not worry...if the voters think that O.rajagopal is fit for their needs they will vote...do not ever think that we can win by tieing hands with these rubbish leaders...

Rajetta... Rajetta...
That's exactly what is happening in Kerala. This LDF and UDF are at each election time granting one or more favours to both the abovestated outfits, so that they don't stand up firmly and say VOTE FOR BJP. Instead, they do a what we call in Malayalam 'kaadelum padappelum thatti parachil'... and then they bargain and earn what they aim at each time, from the then ruling front. Remember, they both are doing this at the cost of their own interest.

But this time is totally different. Every voter in Neyyattinkara should consult their own conscious mind and vote for a change. Remember, if one seat is won by BJP, the entire political spectrum of Kerala is going to change.

Atleast, let us have a real opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. At the moment, there is only one ruling and one supporting party, in LDF and UDF.

VOTE FOR RAJAGOPAL
Who ever browse through HK messages and often share their views, sentiments, concerns and are disgusted with the happenings in the state where the minorities happen to rule the majority in a democratic country must rise to the occasion and subscribe their bit of efforts to get at least one vote each for O.Rajagopal. Surely such drops shall turn in to a river and wash away all speculations and take a BJP MLA to the assembly.

undercurrent
There is definitely a secret fear in the minds of the secularists about the chances of BJP.They along with the media are underplaying it just not to give ideas to the Hindus.Yesterday, the clay model leader Ramesh Chennithala was appealing to lovers of Secularism to prevent BJP from gaining power. I dont know how many fell for it.I have not seen a more useless leader than Ramesh Chennithala in the entire country. Just a clay model for congress to show its phoney secularism.

Why no action is taken against election commission.
They should have taken a stern action against election commission . Why BJP is not raising their voice against election commission ?. Hindus and BJP have to fight for their rights or otherwise they will be doomed to death.

Don't let UDF betray you my friends of Kerala.
They will go to any extent to defeat BJP in Kerala. They will put all their resources at stake to defeat Rajagopal and BJP. If Hindus are united and vote for him, there is no questioning of LDF or UDF winning. BJP must try its best to appeal the voters especially the Hindus to vote for BJP in large numbers in Neyyattinkara. Jai Hind.
