Human justice and national interest is my top priority - Baba Ramdev

I had neither any knowledge of the particular Article nor any comment I made about it. This is the subject of constitutional experts to worry about. My worry is only one and that is any poor should be helped and I do not distinguish poor on the basis of caste and religion, for me all poor people are my brother and they all are equal. May they be of any religion or any caste!

I am a monk and as a monk it is my duty to help any human life and I do not distinguish between humans. For me the question is not of Hindu or Muslim. This is the issue of providing justice to all humans. As far as the question of reservation is, first we believe that the reservation should be on the basis of poverty –whether the poor is a “dalit” (schedule caste) or of higher class. The Constitution of India has provided her every citizen the right of freedom, but if anyone converts them by lure, torcher, entice, or political pressure then it is most unrighteous. That person is not converting people but doing sinful act and there should be a provision in law that such conversions do not happen in India due to fear of torcher and enticements. This alone will automatically prove the goal of rendering social and religious justice.

When I say of providing justice to every poor, backward and weak person of all castes, all religions, all languages, all provinces, and if some people take its advantage for getting wholesale votes and converting their religion in wholesale then there cannot be any worst immoral work than this. They are seeking their selfish interest by exploiting the poverty of masses. I can never support these people. Whether it is a religious conversion of people or changing their political beliefs in their own favor all this work is unrighteous. This is the murder of righteousness, I cannot support them. But I consider it the duty of the government to help needy citizens irrespective of their castes, religions or provinces by providing them specific relief and financial subsidies.

Reservation for Christians and Muslims is dangerous, as it will alter the demography of India, as it has happened in Kerala,where all christians and muslims had been declared as OBCs.Now they are rich and powerful and calling the shots in all areas of public life and in politics.Wherever Christians and Muslims are in majority, they are a threat to Hindus.We are seeing this in many pockets of India and in the North-East.The so-called secular Govt has set up an entire Ministry for Minority Affairs,at the cost of Hindus to render 'justice' to the so-called minorities, who are in over-whelming majority all over the world.There is also a National Commission for Minorities,which hardly renders justice to the suffering Hindus of Kashmir and those in the North-East!The pseudo-secularists have been brazenly pampering the so-called minorities for the sake of their votes and probably the notes of rich 'minorities',who get lot of foreign funds.The dalits who get converted by the predators,realize only too late that they do not get any respect from their newfound 'benefactors'.The motives and ideologies of the desert religions are not conducive to India. We Hindus have a sense of Dharma which they lack. We find that they are not ashamed to snatch the rights of Hindus.They demand rights which Hindus do not have.They want to be treated as more equal than Hindus,because both the desert religions are political in nature, and they are contemptuous of Hindus.It is the pseudo-secular elements among the Hindus who are responsible for this contempt.There is nothing spiritual or humanitarian about Christianity or Islam!We must remember this!
Raghunath 20/05/2012 17:12:44	Baba chages topic: suddenly all poor instead of Dalits Baba wants to help ALL poor. But do ALL poor want help? Those Dalits who converted to Christianity and Islam, many of them did so knowing 2 things: 1. constitution doesn't recognise the existence of Christian Dalits or Muslim Dalits (because these religions treat all their members as equal, they claim). 2. When these Dalits converted, they agreed that not government will help them anymore, but fellow Christians or fellow Muslims will help them from now. So, I agree with Baba Ramdev that ALL poor need help, but I disagree that ALL poor need help from the government! Christians and Muslims have been regarding themselves as superior vis-a-vis Hinduism, because in their religions all are equal. The how can there be Dalits in Christian community or in Muslim community? Dalit is solely something of the Hindu community (though not something to be proud of, as a Hindu). And constitution says that Dalits (meaning ONLY lowest Hindu castes) have right on government help. So why does Baba talk about ALL POOR suddenly, when the topic was Dalits? And why does Baba want government to help all the poor, even those (Dalits converted to Islam and Christianity) who chose to abstain from government's help? I think Baba should pay from his own pocket the help he wanys to give to Christian and Muslim Dalits instead of bleeding the government for this.

r v babu 19/05/2012 03:50:29	reservation Baba ramdev is mistaken.the reservation is provided in the constitution for sc those who are belongs to hindu society because they were socially backward due to the cast system.the reservation is given not in the basis of poverty.poverty is in every sections and to eradicate this find out other options.the upa govt is already announced several schems exclusievely for muslim community .
p k mohandas 19/05/2012 00:56:56	dalits and reservation in india reservation is only for dalits. since there were lots of people suffered and remained away from the mainstream constitution has given them reservation in education,job housing etc. but the reservation for dalits of hindu community in fact there is no dalits in muslim and christian community. thereefore reservation should be given to original dalits and not for coverted dalits which is against the spirit of constitution.
