Reports about Kerala Spices board raid and confiscation of Chilli powder with ‘Unreasonably’ high levels of additive Sudan4 from Eastern Curry powder consignments, have been completely blacked out by Kerala Media.

Even after exposures via social network medias like Facebook and youtube – No Mainstream media in Kerala came forward to expose this fraud upon Humanlife.
Even Middle East based medias have carried the report but Kerala medias who jump up into sensationalize any issue is keeping silence, as it may affect their revenues coming from Eastern Curry powder.


According to above reports - Following the raids on November 9, 2011, the samples seized by Spices Board officials were sent for further chemical examination, which indicated that each kilogramme of Eastern chilly powder contained 14 microgrammes of Sudan 4.
Sudan dyes are red dyes used for colouring oils, waxes, petrol and shoe and floor polishes. Some reports suggest that it can cause cancer and it is banned for use in food products in some countries.

A report by the Spices Board of India confirms that a consignment of Eastern brand chilli powder was found with an overdose of Sudan 4.

Whom are these Media Manipulators trying to fool and How long can they fool Kerala soceity by their selective reportings?

Whether it is Eastern or Western curry powder – Did any one bothered to find out what action authorities have taken against this malpractice? Or are the Media pundits afraid of the fact that if they publish a report against Eastern group – will they also be branded as agents of Mossad and CIA and conspiring with RSS to tarnish a Minority owned curry powder  ?

Kakka's business knack
The Kakka businessmen are targeting particularly the Hindu audience and their tastes because Hindus form the major consumer base of their products. For example, Eastern curry powder's new ad features a newly married couple who are apparently Hindus with the wife being depicted as the typical "Bharatiya Naari" who caters to her husband's tastes. Similarly another Kakka product, namely Koya's Maya Supreme incense sticks are targeting exclusively Hindu audience, particularly the Sabarimala pilgrims. The Muslim business houses know well that if they cater to the Hindu sensibilities and tastes their business will grow and hence Hindu consumers' sensibilities are given preference while making the ads.

Biased media

Yes. The media is biased. They have to come out of their selective amnesia. Kashmiri Pandits were evacuated from their homeland and 19th Jan is observed on account of purge of Pandits from Kashmir. But you know, The Hindu had an elaborate article about how muslims were harassed as anti nationals in Kashmir. No news about Pandits. Unless otherwise Kerala Hindus unite under one roof irrespective of their political affiliations, the media will be biased. But unity will not happen. The efforts of Mataji will be thwarted by vested interests including the media.
