Dear Veerendra Kumar (MD, Mathrubhumi Malayalam daily) & Gopi Krishnan(cartoonist),

It was with immense pleasure and devotion we read your daily on Sunday morning (18.07.2010) and our eyes were overflowing out of your great concern and care you have shown to Hindus who are observing Ramayana Month.

It's true that we the minority of practicing Hindus in Kerala have no self respect and we neither have Taliban court to order chopping the hands of the cartoonist and slaying the head of it's MD. We the fool Hindus still buy Mathrubhumi and get excited with your coverage of temple festivals and special highlights during Ramayana month , Sabarimala Pilgrimage etc.

We are highly obliged for publishing such a cartoon during this Ramayana month itself so that lakhs of Hindus can attain moksha by having the darsan of Sri Ramji and Hanumanji in your daily depicted that too with the faces of two highly revered political leaders.

We hope Gopikrishnan who drew this with full devout just like M F Hussein who drew Naked Hindu gods out of his high reverence to Hinduism can expect citizenship from some Gulf country and may get nominated for honours in the name of Raja Ravi Varma or Picasso or Davinci.

Dear Virendra Kumar, we know very well that your daily is striving hard to keep up the readership among Muslims and Christians and for that you people need to resort to such cheap gimmicks. After all what is wrong in it - If Hindus who read Mathrubhumi couldn't find any offence in it and if such creativity keeps your Muslim and Christian readers in good spirit?

We are not challenging Gopikrishnan to draw such a cartoon on Prophet Mohammad or of Jesus due to following two reasons.

1) Ridiculing and making mockery of other gods belonging to other faith is not our culture

2) Even if you dare to draw such cartoons , Your MD/Chief Editor will not publish it.

We are not calling for any boycot of your Daily as you itself know that Hindus who read your daily already are brain dead by reading the secular poison injected in a daily dosage over the years.So we are expecting more such cartoons of Lord Krishna on Ashtamirohini , Lord Siva on Sivarathri, Lord Ganesh on Ganesh chathurthi and Lord Ayyappa on Makaravillaku just like you honoured Sri Ramji during this holy Karkitakam month.

Keep up the great service you are providing to the majority of you own readers

A group of Hindus must go to Mathrubhumi office and meet the MD and the offender cartoonist and warn them of such blasphemous cartoons.The group should also force Mathrubhumi to tender an apology to all religious Hindus for hurting their sentiments.

Ramdasan 19/07/2010 07:06:24	Mathrubhumi and Hinduism Actually Mathrubhumi is misusing the name Mathrubhumi.The cartoon is an indication of present mathhrubhumi culture ie meccabhumi culure.Veeran is more interested in his business empire than mathrubhumi culture.He is selfish and anti hindu. By publishing cartoon on Lord Ram he has committed serious offence . The paper should immediately publish apology.Buta Singh cleaned shoes for offending sikhs. Why can't veerendra kumar tender an apology?

For each internet savvy Hindus this is like a online newspaper as it is so for myself. I have posted my protest on behalf of all Hindus in Mathrubhumis feed back link.

As a matter of fact, no person with decency would have printed such a cartoon, particularly when similar act invited violent reaction in the society. It is with arrogance and full contempt towards the Hindus that this cartoon was drawn and printed, fully knowing that the Hindus will swallow every assault on their dieties and religion. Surely, no such cartoons or articles which offend Muslims or Christians will never ever come up, and these Gopikrishnans or any other creatures will not dare to do that.

Gomatheswara at Shravanabelagola but might have changed thinking his livelihood; it should certainly make me angry and Hindu believers. Jainism is a part of Santana Dharma so we will get offended for sure, we may even open our stupid mouth and say this is not right or as a soliloquy, whisper to us. Mr.Veerendra Kumara what is your paper doing, do you have any balls other than your bald head to put a cartoon of the religions and their prophets except Sri.Ram and Sri.Ram Bhaktha Hanuman. Are you in a delusion? We may have to boycott your publications, Kumara you understand what we have to say right? Apologize Kumara for your wrong doings, Kumara what you think you are MF Hussian?
