Isn't Gujarat a legitimate state of Republic of India? Why this Hatred then?
05/02/2010 16:30:53  Vijayalaksmi

The comment of AICC Secretary,Rajeev Shukla  that Amitabh Bachchan should not 'misuse' his celebrity status and become the brand ambassador of 'vested interests', is strongly condemnable.

Gujarat is a legitimate state of the Republic of India, and a model state for the whole  of India, in terms of development, progress and hard work, with a committed CM heading the Govt. The Big B is certainly justified in being proud to be the brand ambassador for  such a state.

Rajeev Shukla should be ashamed of his comment, considering the fact that even sixty years after Independence, most of rural India is terribly backward, without even basic infra-structure like  potable drinking water, motorable roads, electricity, sanitation, housing, education etc. etc.

His party has only been playing divisive votebank politics, to the detriment of the unity and integrity of India. Many years ago(probably in the late 80s), Zee TV telecast a programme
called 'Ru-ba-ru', conducted by this very same Rajeev Shukla, which was about the dreaded underworld kingpin Dawood Ibrahim, who was allowed to live a luxurious life by the ISI in Pakistan's Karachi. We were entertained to glimpses of the palatial  house of Dawood, replete
with swimming pool and other facilities. It was much later, that Rajeev joined the Congress party. But did this party succeed in bringing the criminal Dawood to book for his role in the terrorist activities on Indian soil?

It is an open secret that Congress party is playing politics even on the issue of national security. The Congress has failed the nation on every count. This being the case, Rajeev Shukla is doing a singular disservice to this great nation of ours, by misleading its people
about a prosperous state like Gujarat. We Indians want the rest of India to progress like Gujarat.

Shukla too has to eat
I remember this goat writing a column in the Indian Express. As his column appeared with a footnote invariably to his writing that he was some functionary of the congress, as if he need not be taken seriously, I have never cared to read what he wrote.

Later I came to know the significance of the foot note attached to his writing. It is that while normally the Indian Express pays some sort of honorarium to its columnists, a ‘footnoted ‘columnist pays honorarium instead to the Indian Express as a compensation for wasting its valuable newsprint. And it is presumed that he get it reimbursed by those who have put him on that job.

As the saying goes if the dead one is Keechaka the slayer ought to be Bhima ,naturally if he writes against Modi some brand of the Christian church is paying him because Modi has been consistently against selling bottled baptism water to the ‘tribal’ in Gujarat by them .

What is significant is the difference between the amount Shukla pays to the Indian Express and the amount he get as reimbursement. But I am not against any one making a living no matter in what ever fashion he does it.

To Rationalist
I know the situation in Karnataka quite well :). BJP I guess has learnt the trick and with some good calculated moves will be able to win another elections (or at least be a party which others will be afraid off).
In Kerala situation is different. 50 years of communism have now pretty much made every one a Hindu hater. If it is not the religion, it would be the caste. Communists and the secularists still use caste as a convenient tool to seperate Hindus to different blocks, and then make them fight with each other. For this to change, first we need to have a common platform (not a political party) in which every Hindu can come in as a Hindu and find a common track in "Hinduism".

The BJP leadership in Kerala is pretty much mediocre. Most of them are ex-CPI(M) chaps themselves. BJP leadership at the national nevel should pay close attention to Kerala situation and pretty much tell the leaders "shape up or ship out".

RE: To Sarge
Should we allow Congress and Communist wallahs to ruin the state they are governing? No we shouldn't. For example, in Karnataka (where I come from) most of the time it was Congress or JD. What I noticed after 1992 is that the BJP & RSS leaders started visiting each and every home in North Karnataka (80% of BJP seats are from NK)and convinced people to vote for BJP. The efforts really paid. One can't win the hearts of the people simply by shouting slogans on a stage. It depends on how well the leaders interact with people of all sections. During last elections in Kerala I had requested Keralite Hindus to visit each and every home with BJP leaders and convince voters to vote for BJP. Once you are power, you can take guidance from leaders like Modi for developing the state. Until Hindus are politically active it is not possible to save our culture. In the last election I purposely visited India just few days before the election to vote for BJP in my constituency.

Way to go Gujarath !!!
As the saying goes, if some thing does not break you, it is only going to make you more smarter. Or 'theeyil kuruthathu veyilathu vaadilla'. Gujarath with an able and democratically elected Chief Minister is making progress in all fronts. Enterprising Gujarathis have been accused as Hindu fanatics and what not. But did it make any effect in Gujarath or Gujarathis? No, the state became better and better.

Now compare this with states like Kerala, UP, West Bengal etc. These people have nothing to offer for development. The states are going bad to worse. But they are incapable idiots, so all they can do is to bad mouth Gujarath. Same goes for pseudo-seculars like Congress as well.

Why this Hatred then?
Vijayalakshmi Akka, don't you know that Hindu Gujarat is "communal whereas Christian Andhra and Muslim West Bengal are "Secular"?

Congress is scared of Modiji !!.
It is well known that Congress hates Modiji for his pro-development and pro-people schemes and his popularity. It uses people like Manish Tiwari, Jayanti Natarajan, Rajeev Shukla throw demonize Modi and throw mud on him and bring bad publicity in the public on Modiji. Congress party is doing what Pakistan has been doing all these years. Only fools will vote for Congress party.

List of traitors !!.
The list of traitors who are stabbing their mother India is growing .
a) Rajeev Shukla
b) Prannoy Roy
c) Manish Tiwari.

Shame on Congress party and shame on Hindus who vote for Congress party.
Whenever the natural process of national and political evolution is violently suppressed by the forces of wrong, then revolution must step in as a natural reaction and therfore ought to be welcomed as the only effective instrument to reenthrone Truth and Right
