Vivekananda Travels is a renowned
agency of Kerala and they take up
package tours for vacationers and
other tourists. Founded in Kozhikode,
they now have four offices in the
state and connections all over India.
The proprietor, late Sri.Narayanan
Nair had a humble beginning when he
took his father and mother to Kasi
some thirty five years back when the
journey was tedious, with no certainty
of coming back. Other people in his
neighbourhood requested him to take
their parents also for this consecrated
trip and thus he began. Now, his eldest
son Narendran is the managing director
of the firm and his other two sons
Ramadas and Rajan join the tourists
to cater to their needs. They really
take care of the pilgrims; they wake
you up in time, they feed you well,
they see to your comforts and practically
force you to see the places even when
you are reluctant and tired. Please
let me assert ; but for Vivekananda
Travels, this trip to the vivacious
wilderness of Bharatha may not have
been cherished and there by that treasured
“moksha” from the dreariness
of this drab existence ! |
